Today you should read: Ezekiel 37
This is the most famous of chapters in Ezekiel. What a beautiful picture of God bringing life out of death. After receiving a promise of a new heart and spirit we see how this is played out in this vision. The prophecy is vivid in its description as it hints toward the resurrection and new life out of despair and hopelessness. It’s also encouraging as we see the prophecy of God’s Word is what brings life and flesh to dry, dead bones as it reminds us of the power of the Gospel from God’s Word. And in the end, when you see God bring life out of death, we are reminded that people are left in awe and see that God is faithful to make a people HIS people. We see how true this is in the end of this chapter but also in the church today.
I leave you with a great song reminding us of what happened when God tells dead bones to come alive.

God is honored when we intentionally seek Him in prayer. As a church, we want dependent prayer to be something that marks us. Use the comment section to post prayer requests and experiences of how God has answered prayer and/or changed you through prayer! It is also amazing watching God fulfill prophesy related to the Jews. How incredible is it that He was faithful in bringing them back to the land He gave them, what which had been such a desolate place, and making them into a prospering nation again. I am so excited to see even more prophesy unfold. What an awesome God we serve!
