Today you should read: Ezekiel 48

As we enter into the last day in the book of Ezekiel (and the last week of our 2nd cycle of going through the Bible), we should pause and remember what the whole book of Ezekiel has been about:

The actualization of God’s presence among his people. (ESV Study Bible)

The last verse of Ezekiel is fitting in light of that statement: “And the name of the city from that time on shall be, ‘The LORD Is There.'” (35, ESV) In spite of their rebellion, God still dwells with his people. This is a sweet reminder that God’s work in your life has nothing to do with your merit; it has everything to do with God’s faithfulness.

Because of Christ, God now dwells within you through the Holy Spirit, if you have repented of your sin and come into a relationship with God through Jesus. The promise talked about in Ezekiel is ultimately fulfilled in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What did God teach you through the book of Ezekiel?

  1. God has taught that although the Virus took away my ministry of music to 4 assisted living places .He could give me another one while I am in Texas .Yesterday I sang for an hour and 15 minutes at a place called “ Main Street Mall “ in downtown Denison Tx Thank you Lord.Miss you all

  2. I have learned, again, that despite human effort, good or bad, God’s will be done . His plans will no t be thwarted, delayed, or expedited. His ways and timing are perfect. What a blessed assurance.
